Secretary Report - Lion Andy Grosvold
Minutes were emailed out on November 4th. Motion - Sobczak. Second Meier. Carried.

Treasurer Report - Lion Bill Severson
$18K- Admin. $10K-Savings. $57K- Activities, Motion- Faliveno. Second- Sherman. Carried

Convention(s) Update - Lion John Jenson
Upcoming meetings Thursday 1/18 for district, and Monday 1/15 for state to discuss logistics. District will have same setup at Marriot as in 2023. State should have entire convention center available. Service Projects Request District Convention- DG Winkler/PCC Tammy Rockenbach Asking for $2000 donation for services projects at the District Convention. Blessing bags, snuffle mats for Leader Dogs, and other projects. Club donations $1,550 in 2023. Motion - $2000 from E-Fund Motion: Faliveno. Second Ingwell. Carried.

District Tents & Banners - DG Jeff Winkler
Discussion to look into need for new District banners and tents. DG Winker asked 2VD Klubertanz to look into cost of a new cover for the oldest tent.

Peace Poster Update - DG Jeff Winkler
Shared the district nominee forwarded onto state/international.

GAT/GMT update - Lion Tony Sobczak
Bill C taking over as GLT. Zone Chair orientation will likely be moved from January 30th.

Youth Exchange - Lion Crystal Riniker
Will continue with camp at Camp Vista Aug 11-18. 15 youth from Wisconisin will be particiating. Host homes needed. Still looking for funds. Account is $9,815. Projected expenses are $3,700.

Leo Clubs Update - Lion Brenda Steele
Difficulty with Leo Club Advisors reporting service. Looking to set up a meeting at the District convention. Discussion on some strategies for success.

Childhood Cancer Statewide Initiative - Lion Julie Baglama
PDG Dave Lee made proposal...clubs each donate $100....15% of the funds collected with go to each of the 5 areas statewide. Club will receive a patch ($100 donation), individuals will receive pin ($50 donation). Send to Lions Camp, Childhood cancer initiative in memo line.

Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin - Current Status - Board President Lion Erica Singley
Open house will happen during state convention. General update on LEBW. Funding to memorial garden sits at $43K, to donate, send check to LEBW and put on memo line you want it to go there.

WLF Foundation Update - Lion Jim Fletcher/ PDG John Elvekrog
Reports on the district website. Many new updates at the camp. New shelter, basketball/pickleball court. Looking into making contact with school districts to promote the camp to eligible campers. Deer hide count is down some as statewide harvest was down.

LCIF/Birch Sturm update - DG Jeff Winkler
Report received. No comment in meeting.

Vision Committee Reports - PID Peter Cerniglia
Training will happen at District Convention. Audio difficulty limited the discussion.

UW Madison student club - DG Jeff Winkler
Rick Daluge spoke about that club. Need at least 3 students and a faculty advisor to form the club. Will likely need to have this club be a branch club, Madison West did in the past until they had over 20 members and became indepentdent. There are still funds in a club account. Covid took its toll on this club.

Meeting adjourned at 2:40 p.m. Motion- Daluge. Second- Faliveno. Carried.
