USA/CANADA FORUM Report

The USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum is in Portland, OR from September 21-23. There still is time to register at lionsforum.org. The cost of registration is $320, and includes four meals.

The Mission of the USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum:

To develop leaders, motivate and educate attendees, provide an open exchange of ideas, and support programs and goals of Lions Clubs International.

Thursday night's keynote speaker will be LeRoy Chiao, PhD. Dr. Chiao, as an astronaut, has been to the International Space Station. He focuses on space education.

Jen Bricker is the Friday luncheon speaker. Her topic is “Everything is Possible”. Born without legs her adoptive family gave her one rule-- “Never say can't”. She is a competitive gymnast.

The Power of We is the topic and theme of International President Naresh Aggarwal. Lunch on Saturday he will be inspiring us to become more when we become we.

Closing on Saturday will be Willie Jolley. He is a motivational speaker. The title of his presentation is “Goals: Dreams with a Deadline”.

With over 90 seminars on a variety of topics you will be able to hone your leadership skills, build your membership, and learn how to serve your community.
