FAMILY & WOMEN SPECIALIST Report

Here are a few facts gleaned from District 27-D1 membership reports.
  • There are 58 Clubs
    o 2,269 total members
    o 1,688 male, 581 female
    o 227 family units impacting 465 members
  • Family Units
    o 227 Head of Households - pay full dues
    o 238 additional members - pay half dues
    o 11 Clubs have no reported Family Units
  • Female Membership
    o 26% of District 27-D1 members are female, worldwide 29% of members are female
    o 16 Clubs have 5 or fewer female members, 3 Clubs have no female members
    o 9 Clubs are majority female
    o 6 Clubs have more than 20 female members

A District 27 (Wisconsin) Family & Women Specialist Team has been organized. The group is working on finalizing its goals. Items under discussion are:
  1. Encourage Every District to appoint a Family & Women Specialist (FWS)
  2. Develop a job description for FWS
  3. Initiate a District FWS Orientation
  4. Hold a Family/Women seminar at each District Convention
  5. Create a handout explaining Family Unit Membership Dues Structure
  6. Educate District FWS on Lioness Bridging Program
  7. Collaborate with Zone Chairs to deliver info on Family & Women Membership
