1st VDG Report

The first event of my year as 1st VDG was attending the 100th Lions International Convention in Chicago. I am glad I was able to attend along with 30,000 other Lions from around the world. It was a great convention and I look forward to next years in Las Vegas.

District
• I have had the opportunity to do the installation of officers in two clubs, Dodgeville and Madison West. I will be doing the club visits for Regions 3 and 4 this year along with the zone meetings.
• I have been attending planning and budget meetings with DG Jodi and committee members. Also, three Lions golf outings so far, McFarland, Mt Horeb and Sun Prairie. Stoughton Lions will be August 8th.

State
• Attended the Council of Governors Meeting in Rosholt on July 29th.
• Will be going to the Leader Dog for the Blind in Michigan, August 11.

International
• I will be attending the USA/Canada Forum in Portland OR Sept. 21-23.
