District Cabinet Meeting - Sunday, October 12, 2025
USA/Canada Forum
This year's USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum brought together more than 1,700 Lions in Atlantic City, New Jersey, for an unforgettable weekend of learning, leadership, and fellowship. With over 100 seminars offered, including a lively speed learning section, attendees had countless opportunities to expand their skills, exchange ideas, and strengthen their passion for service.
Wisconsin was well represented, with over 50 Lions in attendance. Among the many highlights, several Wisconsin leaders also shared their expertise as facilitators: PID Connie LeCleir-Meier, PCC BJ Blahnik, and PDG David Strudthoff all led sessions that inspired and equipped Lions from across North America.
The weekend concluded with a memorable Saturday night closing banquet. The keynote speaker was PCC BJ Blahnik, accompanied by his faithful Leader Dog, Jackson. While BJ delivered an engaging and heartfelt message, Jackson opted for a well-deserved nap-perhaps he had heard the speech before! The moment drew smiles and laughter, reminding everyone of the unique joy and spirit that Lions bring to their work.
From education to camaraderie, the Atlantic City Forum was a resounding success, showcasing the strength, diversity, and dedication of Lions as they continue to lead and serve their communities.
