WISCONSIN MISSIONS CABINET REPORT

JANUARY 11, 2026

The Wisconsin Missions group has been very active during the second half of 2025.

August 2025 = Guatemala Cataract Mission for initial measurements.

October 2025 = Guatemala Cataract Mission - completed about 35 cataract surgeries.

October 2025 = Pine Ridge and Rosebud Reservations, South Dakota Eyeglass Mission - rescheduled for April 2026 due to government shutdown in October.

November 2025 = Guatemala Eyeglass Mission - 1,533 people screened, over 2,000 glasses distributed, 50 cataract referrals.

April 2026 = Dominican Republic Eyeglass Mission.

The winter meeting will be on Saturday, January 17th at the Lions Camp in Rosholt, to review current status of members, welcome any new members from around the state and discuss some planned trips and others that are still in the development stages.

D1 has approximately $11,000 in our WI Missions account as of November 2025.

The annual commitment from each district to the WI Missions is $600. We are due to pay this amount as soon as possible for the 2025-26 Lions year.
