Environmental Report

Congratulations to those Lions clubs in the District of 27d1 that participated in the roadside clean up program this past year. The environment where we live is a better place because of your effort. If you would like to get involved with the program, contact your county government.

Will your Lions club be starting a legacy project? Will this project need trees for planting? There are local private nurseries in southwest Wisconsin you can ask. You can also go to the DNR website of Wisconsin. When on the website go to Licenses and regulations drop down and find forestry, then to planting trees. The information is free and you can order trees from there. You should call the nursery at Boscobel to order the trees. You must order 300 or more trees at a time. If you have more questions please contact me at (608) 846-3069 or email me at aj542012@gmail.com.
