Update Report on 2018 District Convention
March 10 and 11, 2018
Chula Vista Resort & Waterpark

The convention program has been completed. Both our guest speakers and programs will inspire all Lions, Lionesses and Leos. Recently, District Governor Jodi sent out an email about the convention that contained links to Registration, the Chula Vista Resort, along with much information about the convention program and other details. Once again, the convention runs from Saturday morning at 9 a.m. through Sunday morning at 12 noon.

Clubs are being asked to sign up by the February 13th deadline for rooms at Chula Vista. In addition to the convention experience, Lions, Lionesses and Leos are encouraged to attend and allow their families and friends to enjoy the resort facilities including the waterpark.

We are in need for volunteers to act as hosts to guide members to the various conference rooms during the convention facilities. We are also looking for a Lions Club to take responsibility of convention raffles and prizes.

For the first time, we are asking for corporate sponsorships: Programs $500, Breakfast $250 and Lunch $500, to help defray costs.
