July Cabinet Meeting
GMT Report

We had an amazing year last year. I just want to share what some of the goals were and how we did.

• Extension
Goal was to start one new club.
Winner's Circle of Dane County became a reality with a charter night in April.

• Membership
Goal was to increase membership by 2.5% or approximately one new member per club.
We had a net gain of 70 members.

• Retention
      Reduce drops to 165.
This was one area that we need more work on. We had 223 drops.

• Orientation
Conduct an orientation in each region.
We conducted an orientation at each of the officer's trainings.

• Family and Women in Lions
Increase female membership by 5% or approximately 26 new women Lions.
We increased our female membership by 61. Our membership now consists of 25.3% women.

Overall, our district did far better than the other districts on the state.

We also had a great year with clubs participating in the Centennial.
• We had 56 of the 58 clubs become Centennial Service Award Winners.
• We have inducted 274 new members to help us serve.
• We have already completed 17 Centennial Legacy Projects.

Thank you for serving,
